The Mandarin Kitchen's Delightful Urinal Experience

This just in from Urinal Journal correspondent Jeffrey Cook (Cap't Cook), direct from the village of Des Moines, WA:

"While doing some research on places in the area (Dragon Gate in Des Moines is now closed), I came across this little gem in downtown Des Moines that has been around since the mid '60's. The Mandarin Kitchen, about 10 minutes from the airport. It still retains its minimalist, Asian Modern interior for the most part. This is very rare, I used to know of a few in the area, but they are all gone now.

The restaurant is clean and pleasant, and the new owner is a delight. The restaurant is open for lunch now (with good specials!) Go and support them!   The chef has 30 years cooking in Chinese restaurants, which is also becoming hard to find, and the Kung Pao was just great."

(Note the cute "Lantern" tiles in the men's room!)

The Mandarin Kitchen located at 22612 7th Ave. S., Des Moines, WA 98198
